Redeemer's Child Development Center

Redeemer’s Child Development Center is located in the Cailagan village in the town of San Juan. The majority of the village residents are farmers who work for those who are well off. On average, a family of six has to survive on less than $2 a day. The village has a high mortality rate, and the main cause of death among children is caused by viral meningitis. Many children are forced to drop out of school because of the quality of the school and the traveling distance from the child’s home. Those who are helped by Redeemer’s Childcare Center receive two meals and one snack every Monday through Friday. They have regular medical and dental checkups and their body weight is monitored. Children learn the Bible in their classes and receive counseling when needed. God’s love is presented to the community and is lived out so that the children may come to know the God who loves them.
