Melvin Alvaarez Patzan
Melvin is a friendly young boy in Guatemala who lives with his mother and four siblings. Melvin loves playing sports and wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Along with meeting the child's physical and educational needs, the Yalu Nim Jay Child Development Center focuses on meeting the spiritual needs of the sponsored children and their families, presenting the gospel to them regularly. Through prayer and support, Melvin will have opportunities he would never have had before. His basic needs will be met, and most importantly, he will learn about his loving father in heaven.
