Martha Estela Simón Puac

Martha is a young girl living in a very rural part of the country. She lives with her parents and younger brother. Her parents both work in a neighboring village and they have to travel by bus to get there each day. They are common laborers and therefore do not have guaranteed work. They have a difficult time paying all of their bills and providing for Martha and her brother. Despite this difficult situation Martha continues to strive to do well in school. Her favorite subject is math and she hopes to become a doctor one day. Outside of school, she enjoys playing with her dog. She hopes to have a sponsor one day and would love to have her sponsor write her.
