Jelver is a creative young boy in Colombia who lives with his father and four siblings. Jelver loves playing with friends and wants to be systems engineer when he grows up. Along with meeting the child's physical and educational needs, at the Encuentro con la Vida Child Development Center, the children are taught scripture, receive help with their homework and also are given a large meal each day after school.
