Another Devastating Earthquake!
On February 4, 1976, the earth shook violently under Guatemala City. The 7.5 magnitude earthquake killed more than 23,000 people. February 4, 1976 also marked the beginning of AMG’s ministry in Guatemala.
Why do we share these things with you? Today we stand in the face of another devastating natural phenomenon...
HELP FOR HAITI
On Tuesday, January 12, the island nation of Haiti was stuck by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake. AMG International is reaching out to help. You can help. too.
Child Sponsorship
Through the caring, feeding, and instructing of children who might otherwise languish in poverty, the Gospel gains an entrance into entire families. AMG International serves the needs of children and families through 77 childcare centers and sponsorship of over 5,300 children in 14 countries.
National Workers
Through sponsorship opportunities for American believers, AMG helps equip a corps of over 400 national workers, church planters, and Bible School students eager to bear witness to the Gospel in their own homelands, through pastoral and evangelistic ministries.
Mission Adventures
Partnering with believers in another country, even if for only a few days, will expand your understanding of what it means to be in Christ, will enrich your appreciation for what God is doing around the world, and will sharpen your focus on bringing the Gospel to the nations.
Newspaper Evangelism
The daily newspaper is a familiar and trusted source of news. When the Good News appears as paid advertising, wide distribution is guaranteed, and readership is multiplied many times. The response is extraordinary! AMG sponsors or helps pay for Gospel ads in 14 countries.
Bundles of Love
Bundles of Love are holiday gifts to children, leprosy sufferers, and national workers supported through AMG. A Bundle of Love helps meet practical needs - clothes, shoes, food, a Bible if the recipient doesn't have one, and a toy for the children - and demonstrate that Jesus cares for every aspect of their lives.
Leprosy Ministry
Contracting leprosy means losing one’s job, friends, home, family, ability to care for oneself, and in many cases, one’s eyesight. AMG demonstrates the love of Christ to those who have nowhere else to turn by providing leprosy sufferers with food, clothing, daily essentials, fellowship, medical care, and vocational training.
St. Luke's Hospital
AMG operates the ministry-based St. Luke’s Hospital in the biblical city of Thessalonica, which for 30 years has brought the Gospel and the ministry of healing to patients and their families from Northern Greece and much of Eastern Europe.
