AMG International serves both the spiritual and physical needs of children and families through 77 childcare centers, and sponsorship of over 5,300 children in 14 countries. Availability of care and services for children AMG can deliver is proportionate to the level of sponsor investment we are able to enlist.

Because our commitment to a child’s wellbeing is long-term, AMG’s objective is to maintain full funding for current programs, and to ensure adequate funding before new programs or projects are launched. Unfortunately, fluctuations in donor/sponsor support or currency exchange rates occasionally alter the level of services we can provide.  

Fully funded child development programs address the full range of a child’s needs. Nutritious meals are served daily. Medical needs are addressed so that physical problems are no longer a hindrance to the child’s development. Clothes are provided as well. Children are taught social skills and problem-solving strategies, and receive instruction in personal cleanliness and how that relates to health. Most importantly, children are taught the Bible. They memorize scripture, sing Christian songs, and hear Bible stories. They are exposed to the gospel message, both in word and in deed, on a daily basis.

School-aged children are either enrolled in a public school or attend AMG’s school at the child-care center. For those in public schools, AMG helps provide money for uniforms, books, transportation, and school fees. After school the children return to the center where they receive a meal, tutoring if necessary, and attend a Bible class. Where possible, AMG makes scholarships available for children with the desire and ability to continue on to college, technical school, or a Bible institute. 

Children around the world are the same – eager to learn, to develop their skills, and to become successful in life. But many families cannot provide the resources to help children to reach their potential. AMG is able to provide a wide range of care and support through partnerships with compassionate sponsors. We encourage both the children and their sponsors to cultivate a relationship by writing letters and sharing in each other’s lives.

Sponsoring a child through AMG involves commitment to a monthly investment of $25. This comparatively small investment can yield a lifetime of relationship, and of spiritual growth in the life of a child. The faithful, caring, and prayerful involvement of a sponsor can quite literally change the world for a child.
