What is AMG Doing About Leprosy in India?
AMG is providing several needed services for those suffering from leprosy in India.

Because of the generosity of donors around the world, AMG is able to do quite a bit, actually!

Valley of Love is a community that provides leprosy sufferers a place to live and work. Not only that, it gives them a place where they are accepted and loved. Here they use their skills which enable them to provide for their families and become productive members of society again.

AMG's Kadyum Hospital performs cataract surgery and administers multiple-drug therapy for leprosy victims provided by our faithful donors. This therapy has been successful in arresting the disease if treated in the early stages. With your help, permanent damage to the body can be avoided.

But how do you find someone in the early stages?

Our Medical Camps allow doctors to go into the villages and rural areas to search for and identify those suffering from leprosy. Many of them are too poor and embarrassed to go into the city and therefore wait until it's too late for treatment. This is a great tool the Lord has given us!

With all that we do for the leprosy victims, we share the compassion and love of Christ. Our ultimate goal is to lead each of these precious souls to Jesus Christ.
