What Can You Do With Just 7 Dollars?

The AMG General Fund is an essential piece of keeping AMG ministries running effectively.

General funds help cover occasional fund shortages, help meet unanticipated ministry needs, and allow AMG greater flexibility when we are considering new ministry initiatives.

In 2011, regular giving to the AMG General Fund has fallen off. If the shortfall continues, eventually it will impact EVERY ministry initiative — sponsorships, missionary support, mission trips — ALL of them.

That’s why we are asking our ministry partners to prayerfully consider adding 7 more dollars every time you send a gift to AMG in 2012.

Why “$7”?

This is AMG’s 70th year of ministry. An extra $7 for each gift is an easy way of celebrating God’s goodness and investing in a work that, with God’s blessing, will continue to serve well into the future.

By adding $7 to each of those gifts and designating the extra $7 for the General Fund, the ministry can recover well over the $250,000 decline we experienced in 2011.

If your giving options are limited, we understand.

If sponsoring a child is all you are able to do, please continue to do that with our blessing and gratitude.

If you are able to give only occasionally, give only what God has laid on your heart to give.

If, however, you have means and confirmation to do more, we invite you, with equal gratitude and blessing, to do more.

The “success” of this extra effort will be measured in the Lord’s blessings in a new year of ministry opportunities for Advancing the Ministries of the Gospel worldwide.
