National workers who already know the customs and culture have fewer obstacles to overcome in evangelism

AMG partners with men and women around the world who are reaching out to the people of their own nationality with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. AMG comes alongside these committed national believers to enable them to serve in Christian ministry. At the heart of every AMG ministry outreach is a national worker.

 Why Does AMG Work Through Nationals?

• A believer in his or her own homeland is already familiar with the culture and language in which they are ministering, so, unlike foreign missionaries, there are few obstacles for them to overcome. 
• A believer in his or her own homeland demonstrates that Christianity is not a foreign faith and serves as a role model for the people of their own nationality, culture, language and country. 
• A believer can be supported in his or her own homeland at a fraction of the cost of preparing, sending and sustaining a foreign missionary. A sponsorship of $50 a month gives you a substantial partnership in the ministry of a national worker.

What do National Workers DO?

AMG's National Workers fall into three catagories of ministry:

• Church planters, evangelists and pastors
• Administrators and overseers
• Professionals

A national in any of these catagories occupies a unique leadership position in Christian ministry.

Medical doctors and nurses pray with patients and share God's love as they provide compassionate medical care.
School teachers and directors, and Bible School Directors and faculty teach God's Word to students of all ages.
Camp Directors and staff provide Bible teaching, personal Christian counseling, and Christian life training to children and adults from all walks of life.
Church planters open God's Word to adults and families and mold them into small, growing fellowships of believers.
Mature believers lead and administrate the AMG ministries in their countries of origin. 

YOUR PART in the ministry of AMG NATIONAL WORKERS: 

As you partner with a national laboring in childcare and school projects, youth camps, medical centers, radio ministry, leprosy ministry, evangelism, church planting, teaching, newspaper evangelism, or administration, you enable them to be effective Christian witnesses to their own people group. They are committed to AMG's mission: To advance with compassion the command of Christ to evangelize and make disciples around the world.

You will also receive periodic updates so that you can pray about specific details concerning the ministry that you are supporting.
