Week 4 - Strengthening Relationships

"For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints,  do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers;  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of  wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.”  Ephesians 1:15-21 NASB

The focus this week is on relationships that are built between the childcare center directors, staff, children, AMG child sponsorship staff, and sponsors.

Day 22: Childcare Directors

Pray for AMG childcare center directors as they lead the childcare ministry in their country.  Pray for more support staff who have integrity, wisdom and love for children and their families.  Pray for solid relationships in each country and with the staff in Chattanooga.

Day 23: Protection for Children

Children in AMG Child Sponsorship Ministry

• Salvation  and spiritual  growth for children and their families.
• Safety from AIDS (India and Uganda), Rape (Peru and Uganda), drugs and alcohol, gang violence (Guatemala and the Philippines), religious oppression (India, Indonesia, Myanmar), and disease.

Day 24: Child Sponsor Advocates

• George Miller, a representative for AMG International, visits churches in order to find more child sponsorships in the Philippines, Thailand, Uganda and Haiti.  George understands the difference a sponsorship makes for each child and is committed to finding more sponsors.  Pray that his work would be fruitful.
• Pray that the Lord would touch the heart of other sponsors to reach-out to friends, family members, co-workers and churches to share the blessing of sponsoring a child.

Day 25: Child Sponsors

• As sponsors see the blessing of sponsoring a child, pray the Lord would enable them to give the full amount  of $28 needed each month.
• Pray that sponsors would be touched by the relationship that they build with their child through letters and prayer.
• Pray that God would bless each sponsor for their monthly gifts, prayers and love toward their child.

Day 26: Chattanooga Staff

Pray for wisdom, guidance, sensitivity to God’s leading, love for the children and co-workers around the world.

Day 27 & 28: The Future of Child Sponsorships

"And they were bringing children to Him so that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked them.  But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  “Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."  And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.”  Mark 10:13-16 NASB

• Pray for the Lord’s guidance in the future ministry endeavors of child sponsorships.
• Pray that churches would grow and families would come to know Christ through this ministry.
