Advancing...Stewardship
At AMG, God's ownership of all is the foundation of all we do.

Psalm 24:1 states, "The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein." This verse reminds us that God is Owner of all. This makes us stewards and caretakers of what He has entrusted to us. As stewards, we will all be responsible for the transfer of our estates when the Lord calls us home.

As a Christian, I must ask myself, "What is God's plan of stewardship for my estate?"

"As I think back over the past three years since my father's death, I am overwhelmed by the extent of the complexities surrounding his death. The estate that my father was in the process of setting up was complicated for any "normal" person to understand and left incomplete.

Upon my father's death, we should have been relaxing, remembering, laughing and grieving together. Instead, we were digging through files gathering documents, and piecing together the puzzle of his estate.

It is so important to encourage the body of Christ to keep their financial houses in order by following the Word of God.

It may seem like an easy thing to put off until another day, but that day may never come."
