International Media
Bible correspondence courses, literature distribution, radio programs and Christian bookstores place the Gospel within reach of people worldwide

Bible Correspondence Courses

If we were to compare AMG's evangelism ministry to a coin, Newspaper Evangelism would be one side and Bible correspondence courses the other. Newspaper Evangelism reaches out to share the Gospel and Bible correspondence courses helps win and disciple those who respond.

As readers respond to gospel ads, they receive Christian literature and an invitation to enroll in a correspondence course so that they can learn more about Christianity.

Courses start with very basic teaching about God, sin, and salvation and gradually build upon that foundation to include doctrinal studies and practical truths from the Word of God.

Most begin the course as unbelievers. Some belong to devout religious sects but through their curiosity, they learn more about Christianity and eventually receive Christ as their Savior. The enthusiasm for Jesus Christ is contagious and soon the participants are inviting others to enroll.

In areas such as Guatemala, there are as many as 5,000 students taking Bible correspondence courses with AMG missionaries and/or national workers.

Literature Distribution

In every place where AMG is ministering there is extensive distribution of Bibles, Gospel literature and Bible study materials. Often those who receive the literature will write AMG to receive more information or enroll in various
Bible correspondence courses that are offered.

AMG also publishes periodicals designed to tell people about Christ. The Voice of the Gospel has been published for over six decades as a ministry to Greek believers and an outreach tool.

The Winners is an evangelistic newspaper published by AMG that reaches into more than 20,000 Greek-speaking households on a regular basis. The paper is distributed free of charge. In addition to its evangelistic impact, The Winners serves as a ministry to those willing to grow in their own witness. Its readers are from all walks of life – affluent and poor, priests and commoners, believer and unbeliever. All have the opportunity to learn more about Christ.

Through many years of ministry, AMG has made full use of the printed page. Putting God's Word and quality study materials into the hands of new Christians is a large part of discipleship. And giving out scripture portions and gospel tracts is a great way to share the gospel with unbelievers.

International Radio

AMG’s international radio ministries in Australia, Cyprus, Greece, Indonesia, Myanmar, and China boldly proclaim the Gospel. Every country’s broadcast is different and uses a format that is applicable to that country.

In Myanmar, many Buddhists, including Monks and Bamas, have accepted Christ as their Savior after listening to the broadcast.

New Testament Light is aired in English and in Greek in Australia.

In Indonesia, Living Waters is broadcast on four stations. The response is tremendous and keeps the office staff busy doing follow-up to the inquiries the programs generate.

AMG partners with Far East Broadcasting in Hong Kong to reach into China with the gospel. To date there have been more than 8,000 responses from China which is very encouraging.

Your continued prayers and support of AMG’s International Radio Ministry enables us to use the airwaves to share the Good News of Christ with the masses of people in these countries.

Christian Bookstores

The Christian bookstore is a very simple and effective channel for communicating the Gospel. AMG operates bookstores in Albania, Spain, and Greece. Those working in the bookstores are national workers. Their goal is to build relationships with customers: share the Gospel with the unbelievers and encourage the believers with Christian books and literature.

Many come into the bookstore to make copies or to purchase school supplies. Others have a curiosity that draws them. Some spend hours asking questions and talking to AMG’s bookstore clerks. This creates trust and an open door for the bookstore attendant to share their testimony and some general Christian principles.

Relaxing and getting away from the burdens of their busy life, people go to the bookstore to experience peace. What an ideal atmosphere to share the Gospel!
